Chios Churches & Monasteries - The Moni Myrsinidiou in Chios, Greece is a historic monastery situated on the northern side of Vrondados village. Established in 1897 by Christopher Seremelis, a dedicated monk, this monastery is devoted to the Virgin Myrtidiotissa. During the Second World War, it rendered essential assistance to the locals under German occupation. A celebration in honor of the saint is observed annually on September 24th at the Moni Myrsinidiou in Chios, Greece.
