Moni Pazinou in Chania, Crete
Chania Churches & Monasteries - Moni Pazinou, located south of Pazinos and in close proximity to Chania Airport, is a well-preserved monastery that was once part of the Gouverneto monastery. This structure is a unique example of western monastic architecture in Greece, featuring a church located outside of the central court, where cells can be found, and a separate entrance. It is believed that Moni Pazinou may be the Catholic monastery of St. George, which dates back to 1637 and is associated with Kastrofylakas.
