Andros Monuments - The Tourlitis Lighthouse in Andros, Greece is a unique sight to behold. Situated on a rock in the sea at the entrance of Hora's harbour, this lighthouse is the only one of its kind in Greece. Originally built in 1897, it was unfortunately destroyed in World War II by German bombings. However, thanks to the Goulandris family's efforts and expenses, it was reconstructed in 1996 using stones from northern Epirus. Don't miss the chance to witness this iconic piece of Greek history on your next visit to Andros.
