How To Get There
You must board the bus in Kifissos Bus Station in order to go to Sparta via KTEL bus from Athens. Τhen take another bus to reach Monemvasia. The journey takes roughly four hours.

If you wish to drive from Athens to Monemvasia, you take the National Highway that links Athens to Corinth. After you pass the Corinth Channel, you take the Highway to Tripoli (E65); continue on the National Road Tripoli-Sparta (E961). At Sparta, before reaching Gythio, you will see signs to direct you to Monemvasia. Athens and Kyparissia are about three hundred kilometers apart.
