How To Get There


You must board the bus in Kifissos Bus Station in order to go to Sparta via KTEL bus from Athens. Τhen take another bus to reach Gythio. The journey takes roughly four hours.

If you wish to drive from Athens to Gythio, you take the National Highway that links Athens to Corinth. After you pass the Corinth Channel, you take the Highway to Tripoli (E65), continue on the National Road Tripoli-Sparta (E961). Gythio is reached by following the signals from Sparta. Athens is 270 kilometers away from Gythio, while Sparta is around 40 kilometers away.
