How To Get There

Ikaria has a fleet of local taxis, but it's best to plan ahead and book a private transfer, particularly during the summer when demand is higher. To get to Armenistis, there are also designated taxi stands at the airport and the ports of Evdilos and Agios Kirikos. Before reaching Armenistis, rent a car and travel through, making stops at nearby landmarks. During the summer period, a local bus network connects important transportation points and settlements of Ikaria.
