How To Get There

 
Buses from Athens to Porto Heli, through the cities of Nafplio and Kranidi, run frequently every day. Porto Heli is not directly accessible by bus from Athens; instead, one must travel via Kranidi or Nafplio. Kifissos KTEL Bus Station in Athens is where buses to Porto Heli depart from. Reaching Kranidi takes about three hours, and getting to Porto Heli takes another half hour.

You must travel down the Greek National Road from Athens to Corinth in order to reach Porto Heli. Once you cross the Corinth Canal, you must continue on the road that leads to Epidavros. On the way you'll notice signs that lead you to Porto Heli through Kranidi. If you don't have your own vehilcle, take the oppurtunity to hire one.

Ferries depart from Piraeus port (Athens) to Porto Heli every day; the journey takes two hours. Additionally, Porto Heli has ferry connections to Hydra, Poros, and Spetses. There are also local boats that go to Spetses from the small port of Costa, which is 5 kilometers from Porto Heli. These boats reach Spetses in ten minutes, leaving every twenty minutes.
