How To Get There
From the bus station in Kifissos, KTEL buses depart from Athens to Patras, which is home to the Achaia prefecture's main bus terminal. The trip lasts approximately 3 hours.

You have to drive along the National Road Athens-Corinth from Athens to Patras by vehicle. Once you cross the Corinth Canal, you must continue on the route to Patra. Remember that the road gets a little narrower after Corinth, so you'll need to drive more cautiously. Athens and Patra are more than 200 kilometers apart.
Patras is one of the main ports in Greece, where ferries depart to Italy as well as to some Ionian islands, like Ithaca and Kefalonia.

Patra and Athens are not directly connected, thus if you wish to take the train to Patras, you have to change lines in Kiato. First, you must go from Athens to Kiato using the Suburban Railway. You must board another train headed for Patras when you arrive at Kiato. The entire journey takes around three and a half hours.
