The course of ceramics for 8000 years, they is parallel with the course remaining human history. Despite  the progress that presents the current technique that tends it replaces the human effort with the mechanics, the tradition of Melody Ceramics in Chania still continues. The “red Cretan clay” is used and with the help of ceramic wheel handmade vessels for each are used. Afterwards they are cooked in two stages in kiln, round the 1000 degrees of Celsius for each stage.
