This restaurant, a family-owned taverna, has operated since 1975 in Patitiri, Alonissos. Today, the family's third generation has inherited the traditional recipes, which have been tried and appreciated by many tourists during all these 35+ years. In 2000 the restaurant was renovated in order to offer a better atmosphere, with comfortable chairs right in front of the sea.

Ostria is one of the best restaurants in Alonissos, where you can enjoy a mix of traditional Greek food and modern international cuisine, having as a base the fresh fish, meat, and vegetables. The served olives and olive oil are from our olive trees. The tuna fish, freshly caught from the sea around the island, is prepared and conserved in a traditional way by our family. Our cellars include such Greek drinks as ouzo, tsipouro, beer, wine, and brandy (see the wine list). Also, there is a great variety of plates for the vegetarians, to name a few: the grilled vegetables with haloumi cheese, Santorini fava & lentils salad, stuffed tomatoes, etc.!!!
