One of the finest accommodations in Crete, the villa "Agreielia" is housed in a restored traditional stone house of two floors (178,93 m2) in the village of Sgourokefali in Heraklion near Archanes. The ground level features a huge living room with an arch separating it from the dining room, a separate, fully equipped kitchen with a fireplace, a wide bedroom with a double bed (15 sq. m.) with an overlook of the eastern courtyard, and a large bathroom with a Jacuzzi. Ground floor living area with fireplace and classic furniture. Surrounded by two courtyards, the villa's bottom floor is a haven of flowers, colors, and scents where visitors can unwind and take in the scenery. An ancient stone stairway and well at the courtyard entry (west terrace) lend the area a certain ambience. There is a grilling area and a swimming pool for your enjoyment. Agrielia Villa is18 km away from the city, the port and the airport of Heraklion and only 10km from Amnissos beach. There are some shops in the village of Sgourokefali (two mini markets, three coffee shops, a bakery and some butcher's) . In no more than a km away, in Episkopi village, you an also find supermarkets, oil station,coffee shops and traditional cafes,chemist's and a medical center.
